One moment versus the developing journey

The same equations can display the modeled state at a moment and accumulated obstruction across an interval. Every number here is invented for a mathematical thought experiment, not assigned to a historical person or a participant.

These examples check internal consequences of assumptions. They do not establish that the assumptions are true, identify Avidyā in anyone, measure the Divine, or predict an individual’s life.

What is actually being compared?

We calculate a baseline scenario and a hypothetical intervention beginning at step 6 of a 16-step model. The immediate output is A(t)=C×[1−K_effective(t)]. The cumulative number is the sum (by numerical integration) of K across time—not accumulated Consciousness or spiritual merit.

Active event: e=L×T; direction: q=P_effective×S_effective.

K_effective=K_base+(1−K_base)R. Baseline K_base changes through dK_base/dt=u(1−K_base)−v K_base.

The former direct Belief gate has been removed. B1/B2 are hypotheses about cultivated Purity over time, but this simulator does not yet model their influence numerically. The model does not evolve P, S or B autonomously in these examples.

Five counterfactual cases

1. Master musician and status

A talented musician keeps acquired skill, while recognition creates more exposure to status-comparison. Obstruction depends on the response, not fame itself.

Baseline A at step 100.635
What-if A at step 100.465
Baseline ∫K, 16 steps5.873
What-if ∫K, 16 steps7.684

We do not know the actual motives or intrinsic awareness of any musician.

2. Harsh criticism

A triggering event may increase active obstruction; the same model allows later recovery and corrective response.

Baseline A at step 100.623
What-if A at step 100.436
Baseline ∫K, 16 steps5.951
What-if ∫K, 16 steps7.913

Emotion, feeling discouraged, or needing rest is not deficient integrity.

3. Independent help begins under pressure

Even when D=0 and q is negative, an effective independent recovery rate H may allow background obstruction to decline. Whether it does depends on competing reinforcement.

Baseline A at step 100.075
What-if A at step 100.303
Baseline ∫K, 16 steps14.663
What-if ∫K, 16 steps12.407

An abstract recovery analogy only; no addiction, disability, medical, spiritual or personal prognoses.

4. Begin sustained practice

Increased deliberate practice can, under the proposed positive alignment dynamics, reduce underlying conditioning gradually across steps.

Baseline A at step 100.524
What-if A at step 100.540
Baseline ∫K, 16 steps8.126
What-if ∫K, 16 steps7.944

The constructed rate is assumed, not a measured effect of contemplation.

5. Fatigue under responsibility

Present capacity may decline with fatigue even when cultivated integrity and learned expertise remain.

Baseline A at step 100.425
What-if A at step 100.374
Baseline ∫K, 16 steps9.248
What-if ∫K, 16 steps9.818

Disability, illness and distress are not moral penalties or measures of consciousness.

6. Deliberate integrity reversal

Skill remains high while signed alignment reverses; this candidate then increases reactive obstruction.

Baseline A at step 100.635
What-if A at step 100.474
Baseline ∫K, 16 steps5.873
What-if ∫K, 16 steps7.675

Real moral judgments require context and cannot be inferred from a slider.

Scriptural narratives are not data rows

Arjuna’s hesitation and later discernment, Karna’s loyalty and Dhritarashtra’s attachment illuminate competing motivations in classical narratives. We do not assign them numerical Purity, Shakti or Awareness. Such cases motivate criticism of the interpretation; they cannot statistically validate it.

Other important counterexamples: one can revise an unethical goal wisely; a person can experience grief without rigid identification; excellent skill and outward success do not prove inner clarity; the retired Belief gate imposed a numerical zero even where genuine flexibility could exist. These cases should be explicitly tested against alternative explanations.
