SAE-1.5 · Variable atlas
Every component, without hiding its limitations
Theoretical variables are grouped by role: what the instantaneous equation calculates, how a trigger affects modeled obstruction, and what changes slowly over time. Ranges are conventions, not evidence of measurable spiritual units.
Instantaneous state
C
1 (fixed)
Invariable universal Consciousness as a philosophical premise, not a physical measurement.
Limit: Cannot change through simulated action or health.
A(t)
[0,1]
Derived model output: C × (1 − K_effective).
Limit: A hypothetical index, not percent realization or observed human Awareness.
B1
[0,1]
Orientation toward truth, inquiry and openness to correction.
Limit: Candidate developmental contributor to cultivated Purity, not direct A multiplier.
B2
[0,1]
Voluntary informed trust and commitment to a chosen path.
Limit: Conceptual path through practice and choices; zero B2 no longer forces A=0.
K_base
[0,1]
Background conditioned obstruction, linked conceptually to Avidyā.
Limit: Latent, not measured directly and not forced to zero when there is no trigger.
K_effective
[0,1]
Current modeled combined obstruction after activated response.
Limit: Distinct from raw thought count, diagnosis and outward performance.
Event activation and coupling
L_i
[0,1]
Latent propensity for a specified obstruction manifestation.
Limit: Ego, attachment and aversion are correlated; not separate scores to sum blindly.
T_i
[0,1]
Activation of that trigger in the current modeled interval.
Limit: A trigger alone does not prove obstruction.
e_i=L_i×T_i
[0,1]
One-event activation input.
Limit: Multiple events require a further justified aggregation rule.
P_cultivated
[-1,1] proposed
Longer-term integrity and discernment inferred from decisions over time.
Limit: No validated spiritual scoring instrument exists.
P_effective
[-1,1] proposed
Present ability to express discernment in context.
Limit: May differ from cultivated P without erasing a person's history.
S_acquired
[0,1] illustrative
Learned domain capability such as musical mastery or practiced skill.
Limit: Can persist despite changing P; not Divine Śakti.
S_effective
[0,1] illustrative
Available capacity in the current situation.
Limit: Physical and mental conditions may affect availability without reducing worth.
q=P_effective×S_effective
[-1,1]
Signed candidate coupling affecting obstruction.
Limit: Sign is a modelling convention, not an observed ethical fact.
R
[0,1]
Event-related residual obstruction after hypothetical P–S interaction.
Limit: Not directly measured and not yet validated for multiple events.
η
[0,1]
Illustrative coupling strength.
Limit: Unknown; chosen for demonstration rather than fitted.
Long-run transformers and conditions
D
[0,1] illustrative
Practice or Sādhana, including voluntary value-aligned action.
Limit: D=0 means no current practice, not zero acquired P or S.
M
[0,1] illustrative
Environmental/Māyā pressure influencing rates and activation.
Limit: Epoch/Yuga values are traditional interpretations, not observed measurements.
u, v
nonnegative
Rates of reinforcing and clearing background obstruction.
Limit: u=αM+γDmax(-q,0); v=βDmax(q,0)+H, only a candidate.
H
nonnegative illustrative rate
Effective independent recovery-support contribution to clearing K_base, without requiring q>0.
Limit: Not simply the presence of treatment; not medical advice, not empirically calibrated.
α, β, γ
nonnegative
Unidentified response-rate parameters.
Limit: No causal rate is derived from scripture or human data.
Physical / mental context
unscored
Condition-specific influences on usable capabilities and reactions.
Limit: Illness and disability must not become spiritual penalties.
Grace, Dharma, Saṁskāra
philosophical
Interpretive concepts and potential boundary conditions.
Limit: Not secret numerical inputs or regression residuals.
Three distinct kinds of evidence
Philosophical interpretation: what traditional texts and lineages propose; metaphysical propositions are not measured here.
Structural verification: code checks of boundedness and internal model behavior using invented values.
Empirical observation: independently defined and consented measurements that could challenge an actual prediction. This validation has not been obtained.
